1998: Diplom in Mikrobiologie/Biotechnologie.
November 2002: Promotion zum Dr. rer. nat. mit der Dissertation: "Untersuchungen zur Pathogenese des humanen Immundefizienzvirus HIV: virale Latenz und Funktionalität von T-Zell-Immunantworten gegen mikrobielle Erreger" am Institut für Virologie, Universitätsklinikum Homburg.
Dezember 2002 bis Januar 2004: Postdoktorandin am Institut für Virologie, Universitätsklinikum Homburg.
Seit Februar 2004: Leiterin der Nachwuchsgruppe "Virologie/Immunologie" am Zentrum für Human- und Molekularbiologie (ZHMB) an der Universität des Saarlandes.
